Welcome to the evaluation study of Skald, a dialogue-authoring tool.
This study is conducted as part of a master's project at the Technical University of Denmark. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the usability of Skald and how its features support dialogue authoring.
Participation and data collection
To conduct the study, we need to record and analyse how you use the application. This includes:
- actions you perform in the application, such as creating and editing content;
- the content you enter into the application;
- your progress through the study tasks;
- technical and interaction data collected through PostHog, including interaction events and session recordings; and
- your answers to the study questionnaire.
Please do not enter sensitive personal information or information that identifies other people.
The collected data will be used for the master's project and may also be used in related academic publications. Any information included in the thesis or publications will be presented in an anonymised or aggregated form. Read more about how we use and protect your data.
Essential storage
Skald uses technically necessary cookies and browser storage for functions such as authentication, security, remembering your study progress, and storing your consent choice. These technologies are required for the study application to function and are not used for analytics. See the cookies and browser storage we use.
Your consent
You can withdraw from the study at any time by opening the user menu in the upper-right corner and selecting “Withdraw from study.” Withdrawing will stop further collection, but data collected before you withdrew may still be used for the study. You can also request full deletion of data that can still be linked to you, as explained on our data-use page.
Participation is voluntary. Selecting “Decline” will leave the page without beginning the study.
